Okay, so Streetcar Showoff isn't exactly part of Hawaiian history (see below), but as an annual event that's been going strong for the past five years, historically Streetcar Showoff is one of the largest import shows to hit the shores of Hawaii. During August 22-24, bragging rights and showcasing brought together the finest import cars and hottest women flossing their assets this side of the hemisphere. JDM heaven pretty much sums up the inaugural three day event that took place at Neal Blaisdell Exhibition Hall in Honolulu. The locals have fully embraced the J-Spec influence with open arms as JDM parts and cars ranging from Skylines to Aristos flooded the halls, bringing a reminiscent Tokyo Auto Salon feel to the event.
With three days of action-packed events featuring the b-boy contest, booty contest, emcee battle, lingerie contest, bikini contest and DJ battles, show attendees tempted their palates with banging music from dusk till dawn while being treated to some visual eye candy, complements of the beautiful models. Keylani Lei, model and adult film star, was on hand to sign autographs while Masumi Max performed her infamous fire show (wearing a skimpy outfit of course) on stage to the amazement of the crowd. So what do you get when you throw into the mix a 600+ hp daily-driven Supra, a nine-second Civic, a full J-Blood Hachiroku, C-West FD3S and more JDM products than the mind can handle? In a nutshell, Hawaii's finest import cars all gathered under one roof.
