It's cold, it's gloomy and rain pours in buckets; this is bad weather for southern California. Then, answering many a prayer, the sun finds its way through and the air is perfect again. What a way to kick off the new season. And what better place to kick off the tour than with the hottest spot on the west coast? Hot Import Nights hit the Los Angeles Convention Center with full fury. The hottest models, the most decked out rides and the loudest atmosphere awaited show-goers. And wait they did, for many tuner fans the line stretched out all around the convention center. Some diehards did at least a two-hour stint to be sure to get in early for some personal shots with the girls.
When they weren't snapping shots of some beautiful faces, tuners were snapping shots of the amazing show cars. Just a week after the huge D1 Grand Prix, a bunch of the D1 drift cars showed up with battle scars still intact. Surrounding them were modified examples of the latest import wheels, such as the 350Z and the Evolution VIII, and classics like the Supra and Skyline. Shine, chrome, clean and mean was the winning recipe of the day; just the way we like it.
