As I walked what seemed like miles of tuned imports lining the grounds, the realization began to set in: I had attended smaller national shows-with less impressive turnouts. Grassroots meets like this bring out some of the most impressive old school, track-prepped, or daily driven rides the owners of which simply have no desire to fight for points on the national circuit-theirs are cars built to be driven!
