Hot Import Daze- Hot Import Nights
San Mateo Transforms Into Another Vision Hot Spot
Toyo Tires Hot Import DAZE Presented By ValvolineOn April 28, 2001, Northern Cali shook off Old Man Winter's cobwebs and woke up to a new season of phat rides, hot hunnies and fresh beats at Hot Import Daze in San Mateo, Calif. We rolled up well before the show's opening time of 11 a.m., but the huge parking lot of the Expo Center was already half full. Our instincts told us that this event was not going to disappoint.
Daze attracted numerous car crews, shops, vendors and showgoers from all over California. It was pretty obvious that many had worked hard to put together some dope-ass cars for 2K+1, and a select few walked away with the trophies to prove it. Regardless, everyone deserved mad props for all their efforts.
As for the ladies, the hot weather made sure that they kept their clothing to a minimum. This sure put big smiles on the faces of all the fellas, feeding their hunger for visual delights. The booty contest added more excitement to the mix, and the winner received complimentary VIP passes to the Daze afterparty, dubbed "Redline" and held at the Cow Palace in San Francisco.
The huge success of the San Mateo event signaled the continuing evolution of an import classic. This edition only added fuel to the fire that is Daze. With an expanded schedule of events for 2001, Vision Entertainment is bringing Hot Import Daze/Nights to a city near you. So, gentlemen, get your cars ready. And ladies, dress to impress. You don't want to miss out on this.
Enough with the words; we'll let the pictures speak for themselves.
