Prior to SEMA opening its 67-some odd doors, ruminations were percolating about the turnout of the event: Are people too caught up in the Presidential elections to head out to Vegas? Will the show traffic be dead? With the economy in the proverbial stinky toilet, will vendors show? Is SEMA going to suck a big fat one this year?
To answer: No, no, yes, and hell no!
Despite the numerous factors acting against SEMA, five feet into the Central Hall proved that the show, once again, was a tremendous success. Sprawling booths, thick crowds, immaculate demo cars, shiny new products, and booth babes aplenty packed the four cavernous halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Traffic was a tad bit lighter and a few manufacturers weren't in attendance, but there was still more to see and way too much to do during the show's four-day span of mayhem. While most of you couldn't attend-SEMA is a trade show limited to industry professionals-no fear, we've compiled our list of the Top 70: The 25 hottest cars and parts, five SEMA moments, and the 15 juiciest booth babes. It's almost as good as actually being there. Almost.
