"I think the side skirts and everything that lines up with that should be flat black or really dark. Actually, I think it should lose the side skirts, and on the rear aero, lose the part that sticks out and goes around the corner."

"Obviously 911-inspired bodywork. The dark rear diffuser looks good and at least the whole front airdam and rear bumper is a new part and not just layered over the Z34's skin. It seems like it's trying to be more German than Japanese."

Mine's
"Mine's is pretty clean-nice drop, rims and a lip. I don't like the black air ducts on the nose, though."

"The cover car immediately reminded me of the Endless Racing 350Z model on my desk. I would paint the front fangs to match the lip and the rear around the exhaust so the carbon doesn't seem as applied. The titanium exhaust and piping looks mean as hell. Carbon roof is sweet but I want to see someone do a carbon A-pillar."

370ZS From TAS
We asked Randy Rodriguez, exterior designer of the 370Z (p. 28), his thoughts on new aero designs found at TAS:"Usually you don't want to ask a car designer what they think of body kits--most don't show much restraint and some can even make the car look worse. But looking at the ones from TAS, there are a few clean kits that are well done and accentuate the lines of the car."
