For as long as we've been covering it, Mitsubishi Motors has hosted an annual meet-style event for owners of any and all of its vehicles. The funny thing about this event is that it's called "Mitsubishi Owners Day", not "Mitsubishi Enthusiasts Day", but each event pulls hundreds of Mitsu/DSM rides spanning decades of production, most of them high-performance platforms like the EVO and Eclipse, and none of which-we've ever found-has been stock. The EVO X was the darling of this year's show, with tough-looking examples outnumbering other models seemingly five to one. But that's not to say the Eclipse, Galant, 3000GT, Starion and other Mitsu communities didn't come out strong. They did. Even if you're not in SoCal, you can still take part; "Factory MOD" is set for September 18th at the company's Normal, IL headquarters, and "East MOD" will go down October 16th, at Mitsu's Eastern Office in Swedesboro, NJ.
