Japan kicks off the beginning of every year with the Tokyo Auto Salon (TAS) car show. While the exhibitors include OEMs, the show is mainly geared towards aftermarket manufacturers. This is the car show that showcases trends and fashions that ripple all over the globe. A positive sign for Japan’s struggling economy is that this year’s event was better attended than last year’s. Over the three-day event, 360 vendors and over 600 display cars entertained some 238,000 visitors—a sign that the Japanese tuning world is back on the rise. Here are some of the best cars and girls that caught our eye. You might even see some of these cars become full features later on this year.
