MR-2 Makes The World Go Round - 1994 Toyota MR2

Lacking the cavernous interior space of a Hummer H2, Hill's MR-2 still racked up a sizable list of interior modifications to help bring in show trophies. Most prominent is a Stack ST8110SR dash system and ST500 tachometer timer. The Stack ST8110SR dash is specifically manufactured for turbocharged street and rally racecars, with the same features and precision found in the displays Stack manufactures for racers in the Speed World Challenge series. The driver has a great view of that new dash from a set of Bride Brix racing seats while a MOMO steering wheel, shift knob, and B&M short shifter are just a touch away. Mobile electronics are still the name of the game of in-car entertainment. Hill went ahead with an Eclipse AV8132 CD/DVD/MP3/TV/LCD head unit blasting through Diamond Audio HEX series speakers and a pair of Diamond Audio D7 amplifiers and 10-in subwoofers. Fully covered in Dynamat sound-deadening material, Hill's MR-2 is set to deliver on all five senses. Courtesy of Traffic Jams Audio, the centerpiece of Hill's former storage area out back is a custom fiberglass tub for the nitrous bottles, carbon-fiber fan enclosure, fiberglass dash panel, and custom subwoofer enclosures.

With Best Toyota awards at Hot Import Nights and Import Xpression events, Hill and his crew at TeamECI have gained the coverage and notoriety that a project such as this deserves. With a brand new JDM 3S-GTE engine, engine management system, new hood, wheels and brakes on the way, Hill's going to have an even bigger pile of parts to sort through. This is a good thing for the MR-2 world.
