"This car is a real rocketship. With every backfire, the 75mm HKS carbon Tititanium exhaust emits a blue-hued flame."

I smile and ask, "No kidding? Well you smoked that cocky ass, and he deserved it. How much horsepower are you producing?"

"It was dyno'd at 514 hp without the aid of nitrous," he responds as he points toward the rear seats.

I notice four Nitrous Express bottles sitting on custom brackets.

"Right now the nitrous is only hooked up as an intercooler sprayer. I'm content with the current horsepower, so I don't foresee the need to inject nitrous into the motor. You might call it overkill but I'm currently using two fuel management computers and an air/fuel meter to monitor this vehicle. The GReddy e-Manage piggy-back system and Profec E-01 controller serve as the secondary engine management unit; it's used primarily to monitor engine vitals and maintain proper boost levels. The main computer, an EcuTek ECU flash, helms fuel and ignition tables while an A'PEXi Super AFC is used to visually monitor air/fuel ratios. Fuel is delivered through a Walbro 255-lph fuel pump and 840cc Denso injectors."

"So let me get this right: This car is a daily driver and a show car?"

"That's right. I'm not afraid to drive this car to and from work. Attention to detail is one of the many things I took pride in when I built this vehicle. I used polished allen bolts throughout the engine bay as well as a fully polished intercooler and intake piping. Bolt-on goodies include a Prodrive oil cap, carbon fuse cover and Hayami custom, chrome radiator brackets. And last but not least is a Sun Auto Hyper Voltage Ground wiring system."

We finally arrive at our destination point but notice the parking lot is empty and the restaurant is dark.

"Damn, we didn't make it," says Bakley.

"Man, it's all right. I have so much adrenaline running through me right now I'm not even hungry." We both laugh and decide to call it a night. Tomorrow I look forward to my first experience clubbing at Orlando's hottest destination, Club Hilton.
