Jeff Hahn and Matt Dow were just two ordinary guys living the automotive dream in the heart of Northern California. In 2002, both men ventured out into the realms of the import car lifestyle, looking for others who were just as serious and committed about their cars to join their newly established car crew, entitled "2 Visions Racing." Unknown at the time, 2 Visions Racing quickly established themselves as one of the premiere car crews as they took home the award for "Best Team" that same year.
The team continued to work hard, winning the hearts and minds of judges throughout the Northern and Southern California show region, but that was just the beginning for Hahn and Dow. "As we continued to grow, I began to develop new relationships with several quality JDM companies, allowing me to further my knowledge by gaining a 'hands-on' approach to the design, installation and resale of quality JDM aftermarket accessories," states Hahn. Both men had worked hard to develop their ideas, which helped push Hahn and Dow to explore their greatest vision: open their own storefront and entitle it none other than 2 Vision Racing. In 2005, Vice President of 2 Visions Racing LLC., Matt Dow, purchased a 2005 350Z with plans of building the ultimate street car. With 2 Visions Racing's President Hahn in firm control of the buildup, he began creating possible designs and sketches from a multitude of angles. Working tirelessly behind the phones and sketch pads, building the ultimate Z meant more to Hahn than just collecting trophies. Dedication to the project was in hopes of boosting Dow's morale and spirits as Dow developed severe medical conditions that kept him in the hospital for months at a time. Hahn was determined to earn the respect of the Z community while doing his friend and business partner proud.

Given the nature of the 350Z and its sultry exterior, one would imagine any body kit or exterior modification would simply ruin the streamlined body contours of the Z. After a few healthy designs and heavy consulting with business partner Dow, Hahn decided to take things one step further and build a Top Secret widebody Z with the support of Bulletproof Automotive of Gardena, Calif. Parts began to slowly trickle in from Japan as the Top Secret Super G-Force widebody kit (non-long nose) was delivered to Kee's Autobody, located in Concord, Calif. For eight weeks straight, the body kit was fully molded on to the chassis, removing all the existing factory pieces. There was no turning back for this Z at this point. The body kit was fused on to the metal skin and no longer removable as Hahn's vision was that this concept offered a better appeal to the overall appearance of the vehicle. All that remained of the factory exterior was the doors, trunk and roof, which were reshot in custom graphite paint. JDM carbon Ganador mirrors and a Top Secret carbon aero hood were the final pieces bolted in place to accentuate the new body kit.
It doesn't take a genius to realize that a vehicle that now sports nearly 4 inches of increased fender space front to back demands a set of monstrous wheels. The boys at 2 Visions Racing know a thing or two about "setting it off" when it comes to selecting the perfect wheel and offset combination. A set of custom 19x10.5 Top Secret Edition gold Volk GT-C's with a -11 offset reside up front while a jaw dropping and unheard of 19x10.5 with a -21 offset plays host in the rear, all wrapped in Bridgestone RE050's. With massive amounts of meat tucked away on all four corners, the factory suspension became a limiting factor among the handling characteristics of the Z. Cusco Zero-2R pillowball coilovers, with independently adjustable rebound and compression, and Cusco 22mm front and rear sway bars provide much improved driver feedback when taken on a occasional romps through the canyons. Top Secret Super Street brake pads, Endless stainless steel brake lines and Top Secret Fusion full synthetic brake fluid ensures braking is sufficient at all times.
