Underhood, the F22C engine is powered by a Rev Hard T61 turbocharger, which runs with a custom built Rev Hard manifold and Turbonetics blow-off valve. To cool the turbo, APR Performance went with a Spearco front-mount intercooler with a Rev Hard 3-inch downpipe and custom-made aluminum piping. Behind the intercooler is a Koyo radiator making sure the rest of the engine stays within temperature, while a Hondata K-Pro ECU with adapter harnesses manages the fuel. Since APR Performance deals with aesthetics as much as it does with aerodynamics, they made sure the engine bay is as beautiful as the chassis; dressing it up with Carbign Craft radiator cover, a dry-carbon cool plate and a spark plug cover. The F22C's impressive 345 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque help the S2000 cut through the air even faster.

The handling capabilities under the chassis are controlled by Tein JDM-spec Mono-Flex coilovers which lower the S2000 2-inches at all four corners. The Mono-Flex kit is considered the choice of coilovers for entry-level competition and advanced street driving, featuring a 16-step damping force adjustability. It works with a set of Cusco front and rear antiroll bars to make sure the S2000 doesn't veer off the tracks and is controlled by Tein's innovative EDFC. To round out the overall choices of quality parts, APR Performance went with a set of Work Emotion XD-9 wheels that measure 18 inches in diameter and 9 inches wide in the front and 10 inches in the rear. They're covered in sticky BFGoodrich G-Force R1 tires and stopped by a set of Brembo brakes and brake lines. Inside the S2000 is a set of Recaro SPG front seats that accentuate the general scheme of the ride. It's fronted by a Personal steering wheel and divided by an A-spec Ti shifter knob, sitting comfortably in the middle.
With its widebody aero kit and installation of the best parts from the most respected companies in the industry, this S2000 seems to be ready for any track or street it encounters, and it looks to be an intimidating force on the showroom floor. This balance is something that APR Performance constantly aims to perfect each time they develop a project car. They succeed with it every time, with their initial attempt of a widebody Toyota Celica years ago, and supplanted by the famous widebody Mitsubishi Evolution featured in Tokyo Drift. With that kind of pedigree, APR Performance hopes that their S2000 not only takes aerodynamics and style to a whole new level, but also further solidifies their name as industry leaders.
