Not so fast. There's still a 'phase two': This involves further weight reduction, adding a rollcage and playing with various suspension, engine and transmission set-ups. Even though so much time and talent went into the cylinder head, in the quest for the broadest possible powerband in conjunction with ideal throttle response, Skunk2 hasn't ruled out using oversized valves completely. Neither will the bore and stroke necessarily remain untouched. A carbon-fiber driveshaft has been ordered and S2 is working on custom three-way adjustable shocks and large adjustable racing antiroll bars. The car's called an Evolution for a reason.
