A Blitz SBC i-Color electronic boost controller sits amid GReddy gauges and a Stack meter from Sigma Advanced Racing Development (SARD). Koguchi is held in place by an Schroth hybrid six-point harness while lurking behind him is an Optima Red Top battery.
The total bill? A cool $80,000. No insignificant amount, especially for an S13. But wisdom and expression always come at a price. Of the many problems encountered, Koguchi has learned to tackle them one at a time. When asked if he learned anything else, he answers enigmatically: "New encounters." He has taken Top Spot in Round Two of the D1GP series, but when it comes to expressing himself, Koguchi is already a champion.
