1992 Honda Prelude SiOwner: Rachel Troesch; Hartford, Wis.Rachel Troesch isn't really fascinated with turbos, superchargers or nitrous, because she considers them almost a form of cheating. What fascinates her most is any car that is able to run 10s normally aspirated. It seems that her fascination also carries over into how she's modified her car. Currently, her Prelude sports a DC Sports header, AEM intake, two breather caps, an RSR cat-back exhaust and an upgraded throttle body. Inside, she admits that there's not much other than an AutoMeter tach, custom-installed Phantom series stereo and polished pedals. Outside, she's taken special measures to set her car apart from those around her. These include clear corner and sidemarker lenses, one-piece projection headlights, 17-inch Quantum S-08s wrapped with Nitto rubber and a complete Wings West body kit. The hood is a custom piece, as are the louvres on the side near the rear wheels. She admits there's not a whole lot done with the car, but that goes with being a college student as well. She frequently meets guys who tell her to take her boyfriend's car home, but shut up pretty quickly when they find out it's hers.
