Limited Edition black with red Recaro SRDs draped with Takata harnesses went in next. A Cusco six-point cage followed soon after, further giving Minko an excuse to mash the pedal. A slightly smaller Momo Tuner steering wheel fits right in with the Mugen shift knob and Defi gauges. Integra Type R door panels and shift boot further exemplify his obsession with JDM goods. Finalizing the project, Minko and his father installed a Pioneer AVIC-N2 in-dash flip screen DVD player accompanied with Pioneer speakers, 12-inch subwoofer, and an 800-watt amplifier. The car was a wrap.
Apparently the third time is a charm. He finally achieved what he had wanted all along with this mixture that he describes as, "The best of JDM: Show, go and street." Minko had gone through four sets of headlights, three sets of wheels, three paint jobs and countless other changes before he got it right. He had waited nearly a year for the work to be done and had spent close to $60,000 getting his Integra to this point but to him, it was all worth it. In terms of speed and the ability to turn heads, not much can touch Minko's Integra anymore, not even his own daily-driven '01 BMW M3. What a lucky bastard.
