Calling this G35 a beater is like calling Jessica Biel an old hag, saying John McCain is young, and telling your friends Kanye West is shy. Lito's "beater" G35 doesn't stop at the widebody kit or the twin-turbo'd VQ35. Underneath all this madness are four 19-inch Volk Racing SF Winnings wheels, wide enough to accommodate the body and sexy enough to actually make Jessica Biel look like an old hag. Guiding these wheels and the Falken FK-452 tires to their destination is a set of Zeal Function X coilovers, along with Cusco front negative camber bars and trail rods. Ensuring that the aforementioned "beater" doesn't crash into anything at high speeds, Lito went with Endless to supply the braking power, from the 6-pot brakes in the front to the 4-pot brakes in the back.
Inside is a cornucopia of JDM goodness. Replacing the stock Infiniti seats are Bride Brix II leather seats, which prompted Lito to modify the rear seats, reupholstering them with matching Bride leather. The Nardi steering wheel is surrounded by a harmony of flashing lights courtesy of APEX'i, held in place by custom gauge holders. He also decided that he didn't want the Nardi brand to stop at the wheel, and replaced the e-brake, shift knob, and pedals with Nardi parts. To round off the JDM offering, Lito changed to a Nissan Japan double-din conversion, while a Pioneer DVD/Navigation system powers the music and keeps his mind off the traffic.
Despite the fact that Lito's G35 is ready for show and race, it's still a beater in his definition, "You can take this car to shows and win. On the way home, you can drop by the grocery store and pick up a gallon of milk and a box of Frosted Flakes." Lito wanted to build a car not for one specific thing, but for everything. This philosophy is what makes his car so special; It's not only a testament to the infinite potential of the G35, but also proof that building cars doesn't have to be so painful.
