Joyce Lex - Discovered

2NR: Holy cow! How did you have the time to shoot our cover? JL: Actually, my full-time job is very good to me. I usually end up finishing things very fast at work so I can study for school there. Since I'm caught up at work, they let me take the day off today. I do have to get back down and got to class tonight, though. I go to night school. I think I grew up too fast because school is just a job for me rather then a place to hang out?

2NR: Man, I bet you were a dork in high school.JL: No. Have you seen the movie "Better Luck Tomorrow"?

2NR: I know what it's about, but I haven't seen it.JL: You've got to see it...anyway, I was ASB president, a cheerleader, started an Asian club and got a scholarship for leadership to SDSU. At the end of my senior year I had a 3.81 GPA.

On the outside I was this good kid but what most people didn't know was I used to smoke and had a little it of the bad girl in me. I remember one time I was leaving campus and, to start with, I was driving the wrong direction in the parking lot and my principal was directing traffic. Get this: She saw me, the president of ASB and my friend, the secretary of the ASB, smoking cigarettes and driving down the wrong way in the parking lot. She was pretty pissed and I felt bad, but the funny thing was she was trying to turn us around to get us out faster so no one would see us smoking. I guess it would have looked really bad if the ASB president and secretary went to detention for smoking so she let us go.

2NR: So is the Joyce Lex we know now the good or bad girl? JL: Definitely the good girl. I don't smoke anymore, I'm a full-time student and I still have my childhood goal of being a pharmacist.

2NR: Why a pharmacist?JL: When I was younger I got sick a lot. Most of the time I wondered why the drugs I was taking weren't working, so since then I've had that dream.

2NR: I understand you are into sport bikes?JL: Yeah, some of my friends have them and they had one that was small enough for me to ride, so I did and ever since then I've wanted to get an R1. I need to get it lowered because I can barely reach the ground. I think I can do all the tricks that my friends do, though. I haven't tried them yet but I have very good balance. I'm hoping to get one some time around my birthday (hint hint). Oh yeah, I forgot, I just got recruited by Umbrella Girl USA to tour around the world at all the Super bike shows.

2NR: We're going to end this with eight quick "favorites" questions. So here we go. Food?JL: Japanese and Italian.

2NR: Drink?JL: I don't drink alcohol.

2NR: Music?JL: Hip-Hop, Reggae, Jazz, Chinese and Classical.

2NR: Movie?JL: Don't have one but I just watched "X2."

2NR: Hobbies?JL: Sleeping, food tasting, off roading.

2NR: Best traits?JL: I let my personality do the talking.

2NR: Thing to do on a date?JL: Eat something new?

2NR: Top or bottom?JL: From behind. (laughing)JL: Can I give a shout-out please?
