There's a certain James Bond type of feeling when you go to model shoots. You get directions to a secret location-in this case an old meat locker on the outskirts of downtown Los Angeles-and the mystery continues when you get there. I walked up and people looked at me with a required friendliness-it's the kind of look you get when people don't know what you do or why you're here but since you ARE here someone involved must have let you know. One thing is for certain, Rikki and Vikki looked like they were meant to be here.
Being cooped up in that old meat locker for six hours is not fun, and It felt like the solo box fan sitting on the floor by the sliding door of the locker had no purpose other than to make noise. Ok, well, the Art Director, Editor and myself didn't have to suffer too much. We ran in and out of the booth to grab some of the catered sandwiches and drinks and went for a number of smoke breaks. Our pick for this month's cover was a great choice: They're super hot and they're twins. Who could fuck up that shot?
They shot for the Playboy leather collection and might be Playmates. Also they're set to appear in a movie called "Rough Justice," set to hit theatres in 2005. They kick off their tour at HIN San Diego-appearing as celebrity hosts, along with Brande Roderick ("Baywatch," "Starsky & Hutch") and Angelica Bridges ("Baywatch," "Mortal Kombat"). We're honored to help launch their careers in the import industry. Damn we're good.
2NR: What was your first experience in modeling?R: Hooters was our first.
2NR: Did you worked for Hooters?V: First we were waitresses then we became spokesmodels. We did cardboard cutouts and promotional fliers.
2NR: How did you make your jump from hooters modeling to mainstream modeling?R: A guy named Dove from DGI saw us doing some modeling work, called us up and ever since then it's been a dream come true. We've met a lot of cool people and been to a lot of cool places that we would have never been to.
2NR: What is it you like to drink when you are out on the town?R: Miller Lite. Draft.V: But if we were going to drink a shot I would drink a Jeagermeister and she'd have something fruity and girly.R: Like a cosmopolitan shot.V: That's not a shot. That's a drink.R: Well I don't know. It's not like I go out and pick one for myself. They get handed to me.V: Right. Whatever.
2NR: Do you bicker often?V&R: Yeah. We do.
2NR: Rikki, You've got a bruise on your arm.R: Let's just say that I party hard.
