LL: Patience. You have to know math. Keep in mind that it's all odds and probability. You have to be able to read other players, and you have to have a good memory. You have to remember the person, the cards they get, the cards they play and how they use them, and how they bet when they use them. You have to put them in different categories. Most people that play poker are idiots. They learn to play a certain way, and they think it's the right way. They'll win a pot with two of the worst cards you could possibly get and then they'll constantly play those cards. They'll be in to many pots, giving away their money. What I try to remember is it's what I don't give away. If I think that I'm going to lose a hand, I'm not going to put in any more money-that's money that I've already won that I'm giving back to them.
2NR: So do you do the bluffing thing well?
LL: You bluff later in the game. I'm not playing for that much money so people just call you down and see your hand anyway.
2NR: Do play anything other than play poker?
LL: I really need to concentrate on one thing at a time. My day consists of going to the gym, then going to my castings-maybe two or three a day. If I'm finished early enough, I'll go play cards. Other than that I sit at the computer just surfing or playing poker online. You know, I do also play computer games on the net. I'm a geek.
2NR: Computer games. Like sims?
LL: My favorite right now is Empire Earth.
LL: Exactly like that but it's way better. Warcraft pales in comparison...
