2NR: So, you're planning to attend Arizona State this fall, did you decide on a major?
AS: Pre-med Biology. My goal is to be a dermatologist. I love skin.
2NR: I think I just love YOUR skin.
2NR: I understand that you are actually a fan of cars.
AS: Yeah. I used to be real active--I ran and played soccer. Now that I don't do that anymore, I had to find something else that gives me that rush. I started when I was a freshman. I like the lines of cars--it excites me.
2NR: I can tell that you like a fast car. What kind of car do you drive?
AS: I drive a 1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse. It's slow and it has an exhaust leak that makes it sound like it's turbocharged.
2NR: That's cool. Just roll down the window and every once in a while and make a loud "PIIISSSSHHHHH" sound.
AS: I like to drive real fast in my slow car. I actually got a couple tickets for speeding. I need a radar detector.
2NR: I don't think you need a radar. I think the dead giveaway is the dust cloud you leave behind when you hit 35 on that dirt road to your house. So what kind of car would you want to tune?
AS: An R34 Skyline GT-R.
2NR: What's the first thing you'd do to it?
AS: Besides put my name on it and lick the door handle, maybe hump the fender? I'd make it a wide body before I did engine work.
2NR: I might pay to see you galloping around spanking the bumpers.
AS: Yeah! I'd hit it from the back!
2NR: What types of music do you like?
AS: Rock, Techno and House, it's Chicago... the house stuff is awesome. You should be listening to Dj Infiniti, Bam Bam and Dj Able.
2NR: Do you know who Kanye West is and did you know he was from the Chicago?
AS: Ugh. I stopped listening to him after his Katrina bit.
2NR: George Bush hates black people.
AS: His music is great but I just don't like his attitude towards things.
2NR: So you are from The Chicago. Tell me about it.
AS: Chicago is not super big. It'll take an hour and a half to get all over the place. It's kinda spread out. There's a northside and a southside--you want to stay away from the southside. I'm not exactly from Chicago. I live in a suburb 45 minutes out called Hampshire--I'm in the middle of cornfields.
2NR: Would you give directions to the closest house by saying "Yonders down the road a spell, and left at the Jed's grain silo--the red one not the green one?"
AS: NO. I live in a neighborhood, but it's like 20 minutes to anything normal--like a mall.
2NR: So it's a little different than a spread out Los Angeles.
AS: The last time I was out there I stayed in the San Marino area. I love it out there. I like the weather. I like the people. Everyone seems a little more laid back.
