Up Close & Personal: Sara Marie Mitry

We've had our fair share of every thing from Playboy models to music video girls on the cover of Import Tuner. The reason why this is mainly a car magazine and we're still able to get these hot women will remain a mystery to us, but nevertheless, many of these young ladies get excited over Import Tuner's drive for the import lifestyle and welcome the industry with open arms. A newcomer to our industry, but still an avid follower of Import Tuner, is our February cover model, Sara Mitry. Ms. Mitry's portfolio shows off her talent in a variety of ways, from photos in Playboy and FHM to an appearance on the big screen in the upcoming Matrix 2. Since she's had features in magazines like FHM and Stuff, we knew that she was going to have a lot to say about men. As the tape recorder started I found that talking was her specialty, which made my job much easier. So what does this month's cover beauty have to say? Follow along as this half-Asian hottie reveals it all.

2NR: By reading your turn ons and turn offs it sounds like you want to go out with any one of the guys on Temptation Island.

SM: No way, if a guy doesn't value you enough to put you on in that type of situation then that's wrong.

2NR: OK, let's say you were with your boyfriend for a long time and he said, "Let's see what happens if we went on the show just to test our love." Would you agree to it or not?

SM: I would say, "That to me is crossing the line for wanting to go and have these chicks all over you."

2NR: OK, so it just sounds like you wouldn't want to go on as a couple. What if you were one of the single chicks on the show?

SM: If I was single I would like to be on the show, but if I were on the show as part of a couple I wouldn't want my man in that situation just as much as I wouldn't want to be in that situation. It would hurt me that he would want me to be even dancing with other guys. I'm old fashioned. It comes down to how much trust you have in a guy, but if you inject alcohol into the situation then it's a whole new playing field. I'm not gonna lie, I get kinky when I drink.

2NR: Do you want a drink? We have some Jack Daniel's in the fridge. I never thought about it that way, but the same situation can go for most guys too.

SM: (Giggling) Rum & Coke and a Kamikaze for me please.

2NR: In your turn offs you list guys whose pagers or phones go off all the time. To me that sounds like you either don't trust your man or you just don't even want him talking to girls, even if they are just friends?

SM: I don't think it comes down to not having any trust, it's more of a disrespect thing. If we were going out and your phone is blowing up with chicks calling you, regardless if they are your friends, that's showing no respect. I know that guys don't like it when other guys call my phone. If it's a situation of you saying "I could hang out with my guy friends and you can hang out with your girl friends" then that's fair, but don't expect it to be where you can hang out with your friends and I can't hang out with mine. And if we are out on a date then that is really bad timing for one of your chick friends to call.

2NR: That understandable. Just in the little bit of conversation we've had you come off as a wild, crazy-in-the-sack type of chick. Excuse me if that offends you.

SM: I'm verbal during sex. I don't like to moan but I like to talk. I love to get into it though, the spanking and all is really cool. Don't get me wrong though, I also love to be on the bottom more then that anything.

2NR: Oh...daddy like! You listed DJing as a sport. What is it that you like about it?

SM: The way they move and dress. House and hip hop DJs are so sexy! I did an interview with DJ Qbert for a show called Mango Island (www.mangoisland.com) in the Bay area. Qbert is actually hosting the show with me. The guy doing my web site was in Scratch Pickles, DJ Sushi. Mango Island is really cool. It's like E! Entertainment TV that deals exclusively with the Asian scene, and it's coming out on DVD soon.

2NR: Do you have any projects in the making?

SM: I was in the newest Santana video just recently.

2NR: Where can we see you in the video?

SM: I'm dancing by this silver truck with this Latin chick with a lot of tattoos. The video is supposed to take place in New York, but it was actually filmed in the Bay Area. I think the video is actually out right now.

2NR: Any other projects?

SM: I did the most recent issue of Playboy's Wet and Wild. Actually, I did this shoot with Alley Baggett and Tammy Newcomer. Tammy is also from the Bay Area. I see her every once in awhile cause she loves to party too. I also had a part in the Matrix 2. I'm a dancer/fighter in the movie. We were suppose to be celebrating a victory in this underground city called Zion. They mentioned the city in the first Matrix, but now they actually show the city in the second part. When I first got there they looked at my hair, 'cause it was blonde, and they were like, "No blonde hair in Zion!"

2NR: Well, it's not often you see blonde Filipino/Puerto Ricans in L.A.--yeah right! So what type of food did you eat growing up, Filipino or Puerto Rican?

SM: Both groups have rice as a necessity, so I ate a lot of rice. If I were to say there were one it would be Filipino food. I love Filipino food, but I'm so sick of rice. I like lumpia, pancit and obe ice cream. I also like Chinese food too.

2NR: What about Balut? (Definition: A Filipino delicacy. A duck egg with a duck embryo in it. First, what is known as "the juice" is sucked out and then the embryo is consumed. I'm Filipino and I can't even watch someone eat this.)

SM: OH HECK NO!! I'm cool I'll pass on that!

2NR: Me too! Maybe it's one of those aphrodisiac things like oysters. Last question. Is there a boyfriend?

SM: Yes there is, he is very supportive of me. As matter of fact, he is the one that told me to go for Playboy.

2NR: He sounds like a real Import Tuner kind of guy!
