Yes, now that I'm talking to you, I am definitely 'over the moon'. Mars, even. So how did you start modeling all the way over here on the 'other side of the pond'?Yes, it's a big pond too, isn't it? [laughs] My grandparents and my mum's side of the family lives in the States, so that's why I initially came out here. I've been modeling in London since I was 18 - fashion and catalogue work, mostly -and I made a Myspace page for fun. Someone from L.A. found it and 'discovered' me. Thanks to Steve from Babe Blvd. and Myspace, for bringing the whole world together. It's amazing what we're all able to do in this century!
Yes, the Internet is the greatest technological enabler for stalkers since the advent of the White Pages or binoculars. Stevie B. is a cool dude though--the homie. What was your first show?It was actually only last year, Spocom. I was a newbie to the scene then, but I loved it from the start!
Is there an import scene in the U.K.?There is, but it's very small. And most of it is Euro style with topless chicks... but not me - I'm a good Catholic girl; gotta keep my buns safe in the oven!
I've got a nice oven. Feel free to use it. On the subject of delectable treats, what is your favorite L.A. food?I love the Brazilian food at Bossa Nova...being part Vietnamese, I love pho. Who doesn't love pho? My favorite foods in L.A. are Vietnamese, Filipino, and Japanese. But back home, it's definitely the fish and chips! They're way better in the U.K.
Pho sho'. What do you miss most about London?I miss my tea time and sipping on my English tea.
Is there a difference between English tea?Yes there is; the tea bag is unique and you can't purchase it here. That and we drink tea with milk.
Milk with hot tea? Sounds gross.Try it, and you'll love it. Guaranteed. I make the best cup of English tea.
Those are dubious honors, that's like saying I make the best bowl of instant ramen.[laughs] I'm good at that too!
I'm sure you are. Have you heard of the show, Top Gear?Yes I have. I've been watching that since a very young age. It's a good show. It comes on at 7 pm which is dinner time back at home so our entire family would watch it. It's humorous and I like the racing.
Bad teeth and pale complexion, is there truth behind that stereotype? It is true to a certain point but I can't speak for everyone. I've been lucky enough to be blessed with a good complexion and extremely good teeth. I've been certified by dental practices here and back at home. My nice teeth is one of my trademarks.
But over here, good teeth are the norm.Yes I agree, I have seen many great sets of teeth around, but dental practices have complimented me on my teeth. I'm very thankful for that.
[laughs] You're weird. What does a guy have to do to earn your heart? That's a challenge for any guy; I've been unfortunate with love. I've given my heart away and been hurt before and I don't ever want to experience it again. I want to meet good people; a person with a good heart that I can trust and count on, and who will respect me.
Cough, me, cough! Good and respectful is easy! Where do I sign up?You may submit your applications directly to my Myspace. [laughs]
Besides looking for a good man - which by the way, will be totally over for you, once I find Internet access - and modeling, what else are you into?[laughs] I like to go out and soak up the sun. Give me a beach or a backyard; either way, it beats London weather! I also like going out with friends, singing and dancing! I love dancing! I'm a dancing fool; I grew up studying performing arts, from contemporary ballet and jazz to hip-hop and it's pretty much one of my biggest passions! Once I start, I can't stop. Just like the Energizer Bunny!
So what songs get the bunny going?Oh, now you really got me started! Anything - Chris Brown is my favorite, I love his song, Forever. It's my Fav, but there's just so much!
