The engineers at Honda are known to extract power in every way possible, so we knew that the factory exhaust system was fairly efficient at doing its job. Still, the A'PEXi N1 exhaust managed to eke out another 1.3 hp and 1.4 lb-ft of torque.

OBD-II compliance is a pain in the ass, as evidenced by our repeated re-setting of the factory ECU. But in order to beat the computer, you have to be smarter than the computer. Our tuners, Lanny "Power Puff" Higa and Tech Editor Gary are smarter, bringing peak numbers up to 143.5 and 125.4, respectively.
