| Pros: | Considering that the stock engine puts out 175 hp at the flywheel, we thought the loss to the wheels was either really extreme or the car had problems to begin with. After checking on a few other Spec Vs that were in the dyno computer, we found ours was average versus other cars. The great thing about this four cylinder is it puts out more torque than horsepower. Driving the car in stock condition proved it makes a ton of torque, and that it's a good thing the car comes with a six-speed transmission. |
| Cons: | High torque is good, but having the redline at 6200 rpm really sucks for a front-drive vehicle. Once this car starts to make more power, wheel spin will definitely be a problem. Then again that might be a fun thing. |

| Pros: | Requires no cutting at all. All of the parts are complete bolt-ons. |
| Cons: | Cold air section that goes into the fender: You might need to bend the opening a little or the intake pipe will rattle on the inner fender with the engine running. This might sound a little too picky but it would also be nice if the company had provided 10mm nuts and bolts for the MAF adapter just to keep it consistent with the factory bolt size. |

| Dyno Notes: | The exhaust flange on our muffler didn't have perfect circles for the bolts to go through, so you have to use some brains to line it up. Once again, maximum horsepower was made on a spike at the end of the run. |

| Pros: | Remove three hangers and two 14mm bolts and replace the new muffler and you're done. Installation is a piece of cake. Since Stillen swedged the end of the exhaust pipe there is no need for an exhaust gasket. No B pipe is included with the muffler. Most of the newer cars come with piping that is suitable for aftermarket performance, so this cuts cost down. |
| Cons: | In this industry, image seems to come before performance. This muffler isn't the prettiest thing but it gets the job done. Although the car didn't come with a B pipe I think it would be nice if it had an aftermarket one. Then again, not that many people look under your car. |

| Dyno Notes: | Once again, max power was made on a spike, but if you compare the power from the header run versus the previous run there was an easy 10 horsepower made. |
| Parts Included: | Header, exhaust gasket, weld on O2 sensor bung and plug for weld on O2 sensor bung. |
| Pros: | This thing makes a shit load of power! Main reason was in the header design and removal of the factory primary catalytic converter. |
| Cons: | This header removes the primary catalytic converter. Only one O2 sensor bung is welded on the header, and the car is equipped with two. Hotshot does provide an extra O2 bung that needs to be welded after the secondary cat--the O2 sensor wires need to be extended as well. Dyno results are based off of Hotshots method. However, we tried to fool the O2 sensors and got the same result. |
| Tools Required for Installation: 10mm And 14mm Socket, Ratchet, Extension, 12mm And14mm Wrench, 22mm Wrench, Welder (Or Reliable Muffler Shop) And Wire. |
Conclusion: As We Stated Earlier, Wheelspin Was Definitely A Problem. I Was Surprised That Cruising In First Gear At About 12 Mph And Then Punching It Would Light The Tires Up. That's Pretty Impressive For A Non-Turbo Car.
