dyno notesTo ensure proper testing, all of it was performed with the hood closed and the water temperature was monitored throughout the entire dyno session for consistent dyno numbers.

Part includesFilter, aluminum intake piping, hose clamps, MAF adapter, brackets, instructions, stickers and license plate frame.

ConsSince the AEM filter sits in the driver side bumper well, you need to relocate a wiring harness that runs alongside the Z frame rails to accommodate the intake piping. AEM does, however, supply an aluminum bracket for the relocated harness.

ProsIt may be hard to believe, but yes, they are just ground wires. We're still in doubt that the wires make power, but we have tested them a dozen or so times and every single time they have made power. The key is to test several different locations to see which grounding spot works the best. We placed ours from the battery to the passenger side shock tower, to the top of the intake manifold, to the back of the block, to the front of the driver side cylinder head, to the driver side shock tower. We also noticed after installing the ground wires, we had better throttle response and idle, which was an added bonus to the increased horsepower. The wires come in several different colors so you can match your color theme in the engine compartment.

Dyno NotesSince we have tested the Hyper Ground wires on a 350Z in the past, we already knew where the best ground points were, making our life much simpler.

Part includesFive different length low resistance ground wires, battery terminal, multiple washers, stickers and instructions.ConsFinding the right grounding spot takes time and you can only get maximum output from the ground wires if you take the time to try it on the dyno. From our experience, we suggest you stay away from coil packs, distributor and ignition modules and you should be safe.
