Conclusion
Despite the rusty old parts we had to fight, the installation went smoothly and yielded some decent numbers: 14.4 hp and 11.9 lb-ft of torque. The cold air system really affected the shape of the power curve, adding a significant amount of midrange power. The header and exhaust added to the high-end of the curve, making this combination of parts a great example of how complimentary power-adders work together. All told, we added 10 percent more horsepower to this little CRX. Guess some ole dogs can learn a thing or two.
