Dyno 1: Baseline
Pros
We're seeing good progress with this car, and we're just getting started. With drifting's popularity rising, many manufacturers are importing their SR20DET parts. We're seeing a steady supply of parts and tuning options, making the 240SX with an SR motor swap more appealing.
Cons
Since the USDM 240s weren't designed for the SR motor, there are sometimes fitment issues due to the left-hand drive. Also, we noticed our baseline was a bit lower than in the last Powerpage, which could be attributed to the higher temperatures and variances between dyno facilities.
Notes
There are several different renditions of the SR, each with slightly different technology and different transmissions and rear ends. Do your homework before committing yourself to an engine swap.
