Pros
Subaru created a winning combination with the WRX: it's affordable, powerful and incredibly drivable. You can't go wrong with turbocharged fury, formidable power and all-wheel drive. With enthusiasm soaring, it's no wonder the aftermarket is stepping up to the plate. Although the stock power figures are nothing to laugh at, there is always room for improvement.
Cons
Subarus can be difficult to upgrade. While the company's ECUs are among the most advanced, they sometimes interfere with bolt-ons. But don't despair; we'll show you how to mod your Subie.

Our test vehicle is a stock, low-mileage platform.
