Tanabe Super Medallion Racing Exhaust
180.0 Hp 128.4 Tq
Pros
Developed as a cat-back exhaust system, the Super Medallion Racing is one of the most popular exhausts in Tanabe's lineup. The full SU304 stainless construction and logo-stamped canister are just a few of the details that went into creating this exhaust. Immediate gains were realized after installing the exhaust, as the midrange improved by 5 hp. From 6000 rpm to red line, 14 hp and 8 lb-ft of torque were gained.
Cons
When it comes to exhaust decibel levels, this exhaust isn't for the timid. Tanabe states its SM Racing exhaust registers at 95 decibels with the silencer installed. Uncork that bad boy if you're looking for maximum performance along with a superdeep and aggressive tone.
Notes
The factory exhaust doughnuts and hangers can be a serious pain in the ass when changing your exhaust. To solve this problem easily, keep a can of WD-40 handy.
