Conclusion
With solid gains in both horsepower and torque across the entire powerband, we definitely recommend modifying the xB. while we won't promise that the addition of bolt-ons will help your xB win any races, it will give more power and torque for the daily commute, and most likely increase fuel economy as well-provided the new "race car" noises don't prompt lead-foot driving. The initial drop in power above 6,100rpm was a concern, but became a non-issue with the addition of the last modification, and all but proves there's more to be gained with a good tune.
