Power Pages - 2002 Acura RSX Type S

Cons
When installing the header, be sure the engine has cooled off for at least an hour. A vehicle lift is highly recommended; it will shorten the installation time substantially. The process is fairly straightforward, but we do recommend leaving it to the professionals.

Part Includes
Complete cat-back exhaust, exhaust gasket, (three) 13mm nuts, bolts and washers, (two) exhaust springs, baffle and one sticker

Pros
This exhaust is awesome. First off, the complete system is extremely light due to its thin-wall construction (0.8mm). Also, the muffler section of the exhaust is connected to the B-pipe section via a "slip-fit" design, and is held together with the two exhaust springs (exclusively JDM).

Cons
This system is extremely loud without the baffle. With the baffle installed it's much quieter, but if you're looking for a loud system, this is the one.

Tools Required For Installation
12mm, 13mm and 14mm socket, ratchet, 13mm wrench, needle nose pliers and WD-40

Conclusion
In examining our dyno graphs we noticed the RSX powerband was quickly falling off after 7000 rpm. Our guess is the engine can benefit greatly from a pair of high-performance camshafts and a bigger throttle body. Unfortunately, finding these performance pieces isn't that easy to do; we'd probably have to travel overseas to get them. However, don't be discouraged, because we're sure there will be more performance products for the RSX in the near future.
