Notes
The key to HybriDynamics' GS400 Y-Pipe is that it deletes the vehicle's dual, densely cored, restrictive catalytic converters. Installing the product not only deletes the car's cats, but its street-legality as well. To some, it's a deal breaker; to others, no big deal. It all depends on what you're after, and what you're willing to risk.
Conclusion
Not all great cars need be track-suited. Herein lies the GS400's charm-it's not your everyday import. Its uncharacteristic V-8 growl, large-body styling and gobs of low-end torque make it a formidable opponent to Caddys, Bimmers, and Benzes in much the same way as tuned 240SXs do Mustangs and Camaros in their own realm. And the GS's infamy as the VIP/Bippu platform of choice is something the others will never share. Beating high-dollar American and Euro competition with Japanese technology is great, but beating them at their own V-8 game at the same time is priceless.
