Ego Trip's The Big Playback

Ego Trip's compilation gives credit and acknowledgement to some of hip hop's lesser known artists that were instrumental to the development of today's hip hop leaders like the Wu-tang, LL Cool J, Queen Latifah's Flavor Unit, BDP, Rakim, De La Soul, and Jay-Z. The Big Playback's CD jacket is truly an accompaniment to their book-teasingly referencing the book and citing page numbers and sections while acting as a personal curator by commenting on each cuts historic contributions.
