You want the crazy ish? Okay, well Big Jus may be your cup o' tea. With an album seemingly close to sounding straight-up freestyled, Big Jus comes across as a storytelling lyricist extrordinaire. This six-cut EP--13 cuts with instrumentals and remixes--freaks the mind with choppy, off-beat/on-beat rhythms that at first listen seem too confusing. However, a few more listens allows you capture the cadence and flow and its pairing to the jazz-like musical arrangements, compositions and tempo changes.
