RCA 22 Series LCD TelevisionYay RCA! That should be the catch phrase for the new RCA 22 Series of LCD televisions. As you've probably guessed, I'm not really of baller status, I can rarely afford most of the stuff featured in widgets. While 2NR has a fair amount of street cred, it rarely holds much weight when it comes to asking corporations, "Can you send me a $4,000 television so I can sell it on eBay and use the money for car parts, speeding tickets, prescription drugs and an inside tip I have at the horse races." Most of the RCA's come in under a thousand bucks and I can afford them with a little help from a nicely placed bet.
Belkin TuneStudioThis is an interesting gadget for musicians, podcasters and audiophiles. The TuneStudio is a four-channel mixer that accepts audio from four different sources and has three equalization bands per source. The audio is recorded directly to an iPod for instant playback. This means that even if your bass player sucks, you can clean him up a bit and he'll never know the difference.
RCA EZ201 & Memory MakerThe EZ201 makes recording movies relatively idiot proof. With simple features-it's a cut-and-dry digital camcorder that records to onboard memory or SD card-it runs on AA batteries and is perfect for vacations or recording the terrorist cell living next door. The Memory Maker will drop; it quickly transfers video from the EZ201 directly to DVD. This is good so you can send the disc directly to authorities without having it transfer it to your computer where it could be found by Al-Qaeda when you get too close to the truth.
Sony DSC-G1 Digital CameraThe new Sony G1 Digital Camera lets you share photos wirelessly with computers and other enabled cameras. Although this is awesome technology, it's not going to work for me. I really don't need to be sharing my photos with anyone because most of them are of naked celebrities in compromising positions and I don't want my lovable persona tarnished with scandal.
Creative Fatal1ty Laser MouseI originally grabbed this product because I thought it would be an easy avenue for all sorts of jokes about computer geeks. But then I actually started to read articles about this Fatal1ty kid. Leaving his silly name out of this, he is making a good living, there are products named after him, and he is pretty much famous for playing video games. With that in mind, I'd like to thank my high school guidance counselor for ruining my life. Good call on recommending that I go to college for English. I've read a ton of boring books, written thousands of pages of unpublished novels and now I earn a living reviewing electronic gadgets that I know nothing about.
