Flat Out is back for more destruction, mayhem, and rag doll antics in this great follow-up to last year's hit title. You can expect more tracks, cars, destruction, and mini-games. Plus, with new online features, there is even more racing to explore. Flat Out 2 shows off tons of improvements to the race tracks by not only increasing the number of them, but the types of tracks as well. Destruction awaits on new tracks that have you racing through deserts, mountains, cities and even cornfields. Choose from a huge line-up of vehicles that includes sports cars, compact cars, pick-up trucks and muscle cars, each with 40 possible damage spots.
There are 5,000 items on every track that can be destroyed, smashed, crushed or exploded and part of your job is to do just that. Tear it up on the track and watch objects take out or damage other cars. Don't limit yourself to boxes or sign posts, go for big destruction and look for exploding objects like a gas pump. Hit it just right and it makes for a great fireball, but most importantly, it can take out a few drivers, making more room for you to win the race. The AI has been enhanced, the opponent drivers are given their own identities and each has a unique driving style to offer players a fun challenge.
If you are into the challenge of racing in increasingly difficult levels, Championship Mode is upgraded with the ability to win multiple cups. There are many bonuses to be unlocked here, including new cars and destruction arenas. The super popular Rag Doll mini-games make a return with 12 events, full online support and even the Rag Doll Championship-who doesn't want to see that?
