The Dance Dance Revolution series is not new, but it continues to be one of the hottest selling music games both in the arcade and on consoles. Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix 4 for the Xbox gives gamers some great new features, new enhancements to existing game modes, and 65 new songs to get your feet moving and your party started.
New to DDR Ultramix 4 are three new game modes: How to Play, Trial, and Super Easy, which is tailored specifically for first-time and beginning players. So, if you don't have any smooth moves down, don't worry, Ultramix 4 has you covered. For experienced players, there are tons of different game modes to choose from for both single player action and multiplayer modes. Gamers familiar with the Ultramix series will love the enhancements to the popular Quest Mode, Party Mode and Jukebox Mode. Players with Xbox Live can download song packs from Ultramix 1-3 for an additional 75 songs to use for any of the game modes in Ultramix 4. Xbox Live also provides other great gameplay options like multiplayer competitions, head-to-head battles, downloadable new dance steps, internet ratings and ways to upload your own content for others to use.
Future video stars can now take advantage of Edit Mode to customize the background videos playing to all your DDR routines. Plus, if you don't like the dance steps to any song, edit mode allows you change the steps you don't like and customize them with your own dance routine. When the party is over, it's easy to stay in perfect "competition" shape with Workout Mode since it has new routines designed for every level of fitness and experience.
