Sega Rally Revo

Sega resurrects their Sega Rally series by releasing Sega Rally Revo, a dynamic, arcade-style racing game that updates their classic series for all the latest consoles. Taking advantage of all that new console power, both the tracks and the cars look great with crisp visuals and saturated colors. Since the vehicles are the most important part of a racing game, Sega licensed over 30 vehicles that can be completely customized from a variety of makers such as Toyota, Subaru, Mitsubishi and Peugeot. Tracks include a wide range of both on and off-road courses in unique environments like the Arctic, canyon, safari and lakeside. Vehicles include both 2WD and 4WD so that tackling icy, muddy, or sandy tracks in an aggressive no-holds-barred manner is not only possible but fun too.

This is not a sim racer so the "anything to win" motto is in full play here; throw courtesy out the window and do what needs to be done to pull in that win. One of the greatest features of the game is that the tracks themselves are fully "deformable," which means that each lap around the track is going to change its surface of the roadway. For example, racing on a mud-filled track leaves deep ruts and grooves from all of the vehicles. Leading or keeping up with the other racers means constantly being on top of your game and not cruising through the laps. The racing action is intense, up close and very competitive so don't expect any breaks from racing rivals. The game offers both single and multiplayer action but, in a game like this, the path to big fun is racing against other drivers. Sega Rally Revo offers racing action for up to six players, so grab your friends, pass out the controllers and get it on.
