Army of Two from EA takes the traditional third-person shooter and adds something extra-a partner. As one of the tag lines says: Never go into battle alone! Gamers play as ex-Army Rangers now working for a private military contractor sent out on missions around the world. Gamers must work with their teammate to not only complete the missions at hand but to become the most lethal team around. All of the game play missions, tactics and strategies were developed for this two-man partnership and it's great co-op game play from beginning to end. Don't worry if a buddy can't make it over to play, an AI teammate will step right in, and gamers can continue the action without interruption. On the other hand, if a buddy does make it over in time, he can just pick up the controller and jump right into the game, no need to restart or play a new game. It works in reverse as well, if someone has to leave, they just exit the game and the AI teammate will come back in to take over. This is a flexible feature that is available for both offline and online gaming. Nice.

Each mission is action packed and offers more than just a straight shooter to make it to the end of the task and achieve the goal. Teammates need to strategize together using their brains and their brawn, plus the sweet arsenal of customizable weapons, to get it done. There are over 30 weapons in the game and each weapon can be modified up to six times. From two-man parachute jumps to sniping to an all out assault, Army of Two showcases the power of working together not only to get the job done but to eventually save the world from an extensive conspiracy that threatens to destroy it. And what is better than spending the weekend saving the world once again from total annihilation with your buddy?
