Fidanza replacement CV shafts incorporate outboard joints designed to be 30 percent stronger than many OE joints, as well as a 4340 chrome-moly outer joint stub. The shafts' center tube, manufactured from high-tensile steel, is also approximately 30 percent thicker than standard tubes. Thick, rugged yellow boots are loaded with high-temperature, high-pressure synthetic grease to protect and lubricate the joints. Battery Up!
Annihilator is announcing the availability of their 630 CCA Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) race cell battery, P/N 880-110. The AGM technology eliminates all the hazards of conventional batteries. Acid electrolyte is contained in the dense filling of absorbent micro fibrous silica glass between the positive and negative plates. Sealed in a polymer case with positive relief valves, the sealed case and valves reclaim the hydrogen and oxygen vapors and redirect them into the glass mat to replenish the race cells' electrolyte levels. The benefits of the AGM dry cell technology include: allowing the cell to be mounted in any position without fear of spillage, allowing the cell to be deep cycled hundreds of times, and allowing the cell to be highly resistant to vibrations in harsh environments. The race cell battery offers a lower internal resistance allowing it to recharge faster, discharge longer and generate greater starting power. The 880-110 generates 630 cold cranking amps (CCA) at 32F, 800 cranking amps (CA) at 32F, and 940 hot cranking amps (HCA) at 32F with a 91-minute reserve capacity.
