Aem Ignition Coil
An OE Honda distributor with it's cap removed. The single coil is the grey component with a post that transfers spark energy to the "towers" of the distributor cap.
Aem Distributor Cover
Under extreme cylinder conditions, it's actually less resistant for the spark energy to "jump" towers in here than it is to jump across the sparkplug gap.
Aem Distributor
The upper-most sensor reads crankshaft position. Note the 24 individual "teeth."
Aem Trigger Wheel
The EPM incorporates both functions in its laser-etched trigger wheel. Note the 23 individual cutouts for crank position and the oversized one that doubles for cam position.
