Kicker Solo X Subwoofer
Kicker engineers spent two years tweaking and fine-tuning their subwoofer lineup to develop the new Solo X subwoofer. Kicker’s patented square subwoofer technology uses a titanium deposit impregnated cone for a more rigid woofer with less cone flex and distortion. The Solo X increases heat dissipation using their ARCTIC (Aluminum Rapid Cooling Thermal Induction Centering) Cap design to create a venturi-effect, forcing greater amounts of cooling air through the X-Vent, while its aluminum basket acts as a heat sink. Additional features include oversized dual voice coils and copper-clad-aluminum, edge-wound coil wire to withstand extreme heat.
