Made from 6061 Aluminum, the Mishimoto Thermostatic Sandwich Plate is designed to reach operating temperatures faster at startup. The built in thermostat will keep oil from entering the cooler until it reaches the thermostat's desired activation temperature.
Now you can achieve a faster warmup at startup and extra oil system protection in cold climates.
The plate can accept most spin-on oil filter sizes and the thermostat is interchangable allowing users to easily choose their desired activation temperatures.
