The Optima Faceoff at the Hot Rod Power Tour will take place at the conclusion of the Power Tour on June 9, 2012 in Arlington, Texas. The Optima Faceoff at Road America is scheduled for June 22-24, 2012 in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. More than 50 participants are expected to attend and each entry will receive two free tickets to the NASCAR Nationwide Series/GRAND-AM Rolex Series taking place at Road America the same weekend on Saturday, June 23. Optima will also be selecting 15 vehicles to participate in the 2012 Sandhills Open Road Challenge August 8-12, 2012, in Arnold, Nebraska, which includes a 55-mile open road race and a one-mile shootout. I just bought a 99 honda civic si with a DOHC motor. I'm looking to throw on a T3 T4 turbo. The car is pretty much stock with intake, upgraded fuel rail and fuel injector, skunk 2 muffler, DC headers and short shifter. Thats pretty much it. I have been on the hunt for a while for a good Euro Tuner... I found a 97 Audi A4 Quattro 2.8 V6, it is in nearly perfect condition. Since I have had it, changed the belts, wheel bearings, pumps, etc. I am looking to Pump it up some. Does anyone have any suggestion about the Supercharger available, or should I change it out to a 1.8 Turbo? It will be a sleeper, I want it to look very stock, but a beast under neath... Has anyone else owned this car? Looking for parts that are common to fail... Thanks everyone

check the fuses. when i put mine in the cd player didnt work neither the lights in the car so i checked the audio fuse under the hood and they were done. might be worth a try.

I have a 97 honda accord with r17/215/50 wheels. My camber kit is set at 1.5 degrees. And there is a horrible popping when I turn. Both directions. Physically the only thing I see is there is literally not even a quarter inch between the tire and the joint. Im thinking about going back to 15s to avoid the trouble altogether. And Im assuming itd be safe to remove the camber kit if I go back to 15s. Suggestions?

I am looking to start my first project car. Yes, my first :shocked: . I am looking for some advice to start. People keep telling me to work on muscle, but frankly, I want an Import. The models I'm looking to start with are 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T Coupe. 1995 Eagle Talon TSi (Yes I know Talon/Eclipse are the same car.) (God forbid I find one :cool: ) 96 Toyota Supra TT 98 Jetta 95-98 Civic Coupe I also have a couple of questions. 1). How hard are the heads/gaskets to replace to put a turbo (or two) on? 2). Which cars are easiest to find parts for? 3). Whats the best place to find asthetically pleasing parts for a decent price? 4). Great place to go to learn a lot about cars (outside of car shows, friends)? 5). Any good Import car shows in the SE region of the US? 6). What are your opinions on the cars I have listed and please leave your own opinion about cars that you like. :grin:

Hey guys! I have an 04 Acura RSX, only 5 speed unfortunately but oh we'll. Anyways I'm looking to do an engine swap. Just bought it and am lookin for more power and torque, already has cold air intake, magnaflow exhaust with a restricted muffler, and te headers have been redone. Its a newer engine cause he had done an engine swap, original had crapped out on him, low km on this one but not enough speed for me. Right now there is a 2.0L i-vtec DOHC ( 4 cylinder ) so I'm wanting to do an engine swap. But unsure which motor would be best. Any suggestions?
