By being able to view both the numeric graph (top) and the 3D graphics (bottom) side by side simultaneously the tuner is able to observe tuning changes on both graphs. This allows the tuner to spot tuning "spikes" which can cause hiccups in the program. The tuner can then smooth out the spike for more precise ignition or fuel control. View Related Article
