Although it cannot indicate specific sensor failure or flash problematic engine codes, the fault meter can be an invaluable tool. Depending on the amount of error codes the engine is riddled with, the unit will display multiple numbers from one and up, indicating problems have developed. If the diagnosis indicator reads zero, congrats! You're trouble free-for now.

What's Your Function?Using the infrared port located on the side of the unit, the R-VIT can perform optical communication with the SBC i-D boost controller, further expanding its capabilities. Linking both systems side by side, the R-VIT will simultaneously send a speed map function, providing an accurate speed-based boost and tachometer information to the SBC-ID. Currently in the R&D stages, Blitz is finalizing the release of their newest fuel mixture controller unit (similar in size and design with the R-VIT) which will be available in October 2004 to the general public.
